10 A-Mazing Jameson Drinks on St. Patricks Day

1. Bloody Molly
Start your day off right with this take on a Bloody Mary. Sub the vodka for Jameson, put a little food in your gut, and get ready for the festivities.
2. Irish Car Bomb
Now I know it’s going to be a hell of a long day, but that’s no reason not to jumpstart it with one of my favorites: A shot of half Jameson, half Baileys, dropped into a pint of Guinness. Rookies beware: Drink it quick and drink it all or it will start to curdle.
3. Irish Julep
St. Pat’s is the Kentucky Derby of drinking holidays. Celebrate appropriately with an Irish-style mint julep. Lightly muddle mint and sugar in a Tom Collins glass. Then, cover with Jameson and crushed ice.
4. Irish Cowboy
Today is a marathon, not a sprint, so keep your energy up with our version of a Tennessee Cowboy: Red Bull with Jameson instead of Jack.
5. The Four Horseman
If the Red Bull doesn’t do it for you, here’s a swift kick in the ass to keep you going. Our take on the Four Horseman subs Cuervo for Jameson, keeping it all in the whiskey family: 1 part Scotch Whiskey (Johnnie Black), 1 part Tennessee Whiskey (Jack), 1 part Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey (Jim Beam), and 1 part Irish Whiskey (Jameson), served on the rocks or as a shot. If these boys don’t send you to the grave, nothing will.
6. Irish Prairie Fire
At this point in the day, It’s time to start playing some jokes on your Irish-for-a-Day bros. Order them a shot of half Jameson, half hot sauce, and get one for yourself if you’re feeling especially ballsy.
7. Dublin Dark & Stormy
Mix anything with ginger beer and fresh lime and it’s probably going to be damn good. Vodka for a Moscow Mule, dark rum for a Dark & Stormy, or Jameson for this St. Pat’s special.
8. Irish Coffee
Naturally, the final hours of St. Pat’s are rough. Keep it going with coffee and a shot of Jameson. You’re almost there…
9. The Jenna Jameson
Now this is a complicated shot, but it’s only right to pay homage to the girl who named herself after this fine Irish whiskey. 0.5 oz Cherry liquor, 0.5 oz Jameson, 0.25 oz cinnamon schnapps, 0.5 oz Baileys, shaken, strained into a shot glass, and topped with whipped cream.
10. Shot and a Beer
There’s no need to leave out the old standby, especially when pub-crawling. There are many options here, but stick with tradition and order a Jameson and a Guinness. If you make it through this list today, I commend you. In the meantime, here’s to beefsteak when you’re hungry, whiskey when you’re dry, all the women you’ll ever want, and heaven when you die.
